Abigail Black Elbaum

Abigail Black Elbaum is the Co-Founder and Principal of Ogden CAP Properties, a real estate management, development, and investment firm with holdings in New York and Washington, D.C. Elbaum began her career at J.P. Morgan Chase in its Private Bank, where she served as Vice President.
 

A dedicated alumna of Columbia University, Abby Black Elbaum serves as Vice Chair of the University's Board of Trustees. She is a member of the President's Council for Columbia World Projects and serves on the Steering Committee for the College's Core to Commencement Campaign. Abby earned her B.A. from Columbia College and her MBA from Columbia Business School. Her commitment to Columbia has been recognized through the Columbia College Young Alumni Achievement Award and the John Jay Award for Distinguished Professional Achievement. Elbaum previously served on the Columbia College Alumni Association, the College's Board of Visitors, and as Chair of the Alumni Trustee Nominating Committee.
 

Beyond her work in real estate and higher education, Abby is deeply engaged in healthcare and civic leadership. She serves as a trustee of New York-Presbyterian Hospital and has served on advisory committees for New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, including the Sloane Hospital for Women Advisory Committee and the Heart Center Steering Committee. Elbaum also serves as a Governor of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and holds board positions with the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District, the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter, the New York City Police Foundation, and the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District.
